Newborough, Peterborough

Aitchison Raffety promoted land adjoining a village to the east of Peterborough for inclusion within its Site Allocations and Policies DPDs. Submitted at the beginning of the plan preparation process, technical information as appropriate was provided to the Council to enable them to consider the land suitable as a residential allocation. We presented a case for inclusion of the land at the Plan Examination, which assisted in securing a residential allocation, which also incorporated an adjoining land parcel.

The adoption of the Site Allocations Plan in 2012 led to the marketing of the land the subsequent approval of 42 dwellings following an application submitted by Aitchison Raffety.
