Amberside, Hemel Hempstead Set for Redevelopment

Jarvis Group, the Harpenden-based construction and development company has acquired a 20,948 sq ft (1,946 m ² ) B1 two storey building in Wood Lane, Hemel Hempstead for £1.43 million.

The building, Amberside, offers approximately 21,000 sq ft (1,950 m²) of accommodation and will be completely refurbished by Jarvis to offer a range of office units, for sale or lease on a ‘strata sale’ basis. Office units within the development will range in size from 800 sq.ft (66 m²) to 5,000 sq.ft (464 m²) and should be ready for occupation in May 2007. In addition, the new development will offer 62 car parking spaces.

“There is a strong demand in Hemel Hempstead for small freehold offices of around 1,000 sq ft which are close to the town centre” says Ian Archer, Director of Aitchison Raffety. “Amberside will meet this need as well as providing a leasehold option”.
