Commercial Development Continues Apace in Watford

10/11/2006

Watford is maintaining its dominance as the favoured commercial hotspot in the northwest M25 quadrant with several new industrial and business units being built.

One of the newest projects currently under construction is Bermer Place in Imperial Way. The development comprises nine business units in a private courtyard location, each with its own parking. Due for completion in February 2007, each unit will have the first floor fitted out as comfort cooled offices with the ground floor as a shell finish with concrete floor and mains services, facilitating production, storage or research and development uses. Unit sizes range from 2,560 sq ft (238 m ² ) to 3,056 sq ft (284 m ² ). Bermer Place is conveniently situated just one mile from both the M1 motorway and Watford Junction railway station.

The Bermer Place units will be available on a leasehold basis with rents of £14.50 per sq ft. Reservations are now being taken through joint agents, Aitchison Raffety (01923 210733) and Lambert Smith Hampton (01923 212300).

For those looking for freehold business units, Aitchison Raffety is marketing Orbital 25 off Tolpits Lane. Phase Two at Orbital has recently been completed and the eight business units of either 2,200 sq ft or 2,700 sq ft are offered for sale at prices commencing at £415,000.
