Aitchison Raffety has appointed Myles O’Brien BSc (Hons) MRICS to its national rating team. He joins from Jones Lang LaSalle where he was a member of the portfolio valuation advisory team and previously he was with GVA Grimley for five years in its national rating department. His appointment will strengthen the Aitchison Raffety rating team ahead of the 2010 Revaluation which is already bringing in enquiries. “As this latest re-assessment is based on notional rental values as at 1st April 2008, many rateable values have increased significantly and should be challenged by appeal.
