Cavendish Tate To Join The Aitchison Raffety Group 01/06/2009

Cavendish Tate Limited is to join the Aitchison Raffety Group with immediate effect. All staff at its West Midlands offices will be retained.

Cavendish Tate is a small firm of chartered surveyors specialising in trade related businesses and healthcare properties including acute hospitals, care homes and specialist health units throughout the UK. The firm will continue to operate as Cavendish Tate within the Aitchison Raffety Group.

“We are particularly pleased that Cavendish Tate has joined the AR Group” says David Goodchild, Managing Director, Commercial, Aitchison Raffety. “This partnership will bring benefits in two distinct areas. Their expertise in healthcare properties will directly complement our own specialism in medical premises and their long experience in the valuation and commercial agency aspects of trade related businesses will enable Aitchison Raffety to expand this area of our business”.

For Cavendish Tate the benefits are also manifold. “We see this as an ideal partnership” says Gareth Morgan, managing director of Cavendish Tate. “A major benefit of joining the Aitchison Raffety Group will be the ability to increase our Professional Indemnity insurance to a level sufficient to undertake substantial valuations such as acute hospitals. In addition we look forward to the opportunities that come with being part of a larger group and to growing our business accordingly.”
