On Friday 30th June, Team Aitchison Raffety took on and completed the JLL Property Triathlon at the stunning 2012 London Olympics venue at Dorney Lake in Windsor.
The annual event money for Crisis charity, and this year the 3,000 entrants managed to raise a total of £191,000. The event is celebrating its 11th year and has raised over £1.7 million to date for charity. The sprint triathlons are open to anyone in the property industry and to all different ages and abilities.
AR’s main Relay Team was made up of: Stephen Ore, Senior Commercial Valuer, (swim), Mark Bunting, Group Director, Commercial Agency, (cycle), Louise Leadbeater, Associate Director, Valuation, (run). Tom Littler, Associate Director, Valuation, took on the individual duathlon (run & cycle) and brave souls Stephanie Nicholas, Assistant Surveyor, Business Rates and Charles Luff, Associate Director, Healthcare, undertook the full individual triathlon (swim, cycle and run).
We had some impressive results from our team and individual entrants. The team completed the event in a very respectable 01:19:53 – only 19 minutes behind the overall winners of the day, and 1 hour 25 minutes ahead of last place. That’s 363rd out of 1,423!
What was truly apparent was the feeling of true teamwork and the incredible enthusiasm from everyone that took part and spectated. Well done Team AR.
